Branislav Ivanovic has issued a rallying cry that Chelsea can still taste success in Europe this season.
The Blues take on Sparta Prague tonight at the Stadion Latna, well aware their reputation across the continent has taken a bit of a nosedive.
Last season's Champions League winners became the first holders in the history of the competition to fall at the first group stage the following season. However, they are 1.72 to win in the Czech Republic capital and 7.50 to go on and clinch this season's Europa League.
Ivanovic, 21.00 to open the scoring against Sparta on Thursday, feels Rafa Benitez's squad can still use the Europa League platform to remind a few people just why they lifted football's biggest club prize in the first place.
The Serbian defender insists: "We couldn't see any positives going out of the Champions League - we still can't. But we know we have to be positive now because we still have an opportunity to win something important.
"That will be very important for us. We have to be ready in our minds now and know that our opponents will also have great determination and greater motivation to beat us."
