Soccer - Aguero ready for Dortmund test
Sergio Aguero sees no reason why Manchester City can't win the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup this season. Having been knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Aston Villa last week, Roberto Mancini's side have just three trophies left to target this term. That is good news for Argentina international Aguero, who is looking forward to taking on German champions Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League this week. It is a game that City are 5/6 with bet365 to win, while the Bundesliga outfit can be backed at 10/3 to return to Germany with all three points. Aguero said: "This is always a big test for a great team. Like last year, we have to do well in the Premier League and then try to do as well as we can in Europe, as well as the FA Cup. "We will be approaching each one with as much seriousness as the others. They are all important for us, for everyone. "For me, a Premier League game is as important as a Champions League game."
Soccer - Hagi warns of Cluj threat
Former Romanian legend Georghe Hagi has warned Manchester United not to under-estimate FC Cluj, who they face in a Champions League clash this week. Sir Alex Ferguson's side are 12/1 with bet365 to win the match 3-0 and 7/1 to clinch a narrow 2-1 success in Romania. Cluj provided a glimpse of their emerging pedigree when they beat Swiss side Basel home and away in qualifying for the group stage of the competition and Hagi, boss of Cluj's domestic rivals, Viitorul Constanta, insists: "United need to be careful. "Cluj are a good team and they have won all five of their European games so far this season. They were not a big club in Romania until five years ago when they started winning trophies. "They are well-organised and are a very strong side."
Soccer - Di Matteo demands more from Chelsea
Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo thinks there is still much more to come from his table-topping side. The Blues, 3/1 with bet365 to win the Premier League title, hold a three-point lead at the top of the table after securing an impressive 2-1 victory at Arsenal on Saturday. Reigning champions Manchester City, four points adrift of Chelsea, are at 13/8 to secure back-to-back titles. However, Di Matteo believes his expensively-assembled squad have much work to do, saying: "I think we need to improve a lot on that side. As exciting as it is to have them all on the pitch, when we lose the ball, we need to defend as well. "So far, we have had a good start. But that's all it is."
