Pardew puts his faith in Gosling
Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew remains confident that his side can see off Metalist Kharkiv and secure their place in the last 16 of the Europa League.
Newcastle had to settle for a goalless draw in last week's first leg at St James' Park, but Pardew sees reasons to be optimistic for Thursday's second encounter in Ukraine.
He said: "We have the clean sheet to take over there. A score draw will take us through so there is some benefit in that, although I would have liked to win the game last week."
Dan Gosling has been included in Pardew's squad for the game but Hatem Ben Arfa has remained at home.
The Frenchman has just returned to training and Newcastle are not interested in rushing him back, while Gosling has been missing since the autumn when he picked up an ankle injury.
Yohan Cabaye, Papiss Cisse, Moussa Sissoko, Fabricio Coloccini, Cheick Tiote and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa have all travelled to Ukraine for a match Newcastle, 51.00 to win this season's Europa League, are 6.50 to draw 1-1.
