Robin van Persie has pleaded with Sir Alex Ferguson not to rest him for Today's FA Cup fifth round encounter between Manchester United and Reading.
The 29-year-old Netherlands international has enjoyed a brilliant campaign since moving to Old Trafford from Arsenal last summer and has already found the net 23 times in all competitions.
I want to play against Reading. I want to keep going, playing all of the games.Robin van Persie
United are 1.03 to win the Premier League title and 10.00 to clinch the Champions League after drawing 1-1 at Real Madrid in a last-16 first leg tie on Wednesday.
It has been suggested that Van Persie could be rested for Today's game against the Royals which United can be backed at 8.50 to win 3-0.
However, van Persie said: "I have found out that when you play for Manchester United, every game is a big game.
"There are some extra-special matches - like when you play (Manchester) City or Liverpool in the Premier League and Real Madrid in the Champions League - but the so-called smaller games are important also because winning those games makes you champions.
"Personally, I love to play all of the games. You get into a rhythm. I get used to having a game every three days and when you don't play for a week, it can take maybe 10 or 15 minutes to get your rhythm back.
"I want to play against Reading. I want to keep going, playing all of the games."
