O'Driscoll keeps Robins grounded
Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll.
Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll insists he will not allow his side to get too carried away by their recent run of good form.
The Robins have secured three wins in their last four games, including a 2-0 victory over O'Driscoll's former side Nottingham Forest last time out.
Despite their fine form of late the Ashton Gate outfit remain second bottom of the Championship table and face a tricky trip to runaway league-leaders Cardiff in the early kick off on Saturday.
The Robins, who are to be relegated, also travel to promotion chasers Crystal Palace on Tuesday and O’Driscoll has warned his side they must be at their best if they are to get results at the Cardiff City Stadium and Selhurst Park.
"I was pouring cold water on their celebrations," O'Driscoll on the win over Forest.
"We have two of the hardest away games possible coming up. I'm ever the realist and they don't come much tougher than Cardiff City and Crystal Palace away.
"We're playing two of the best teams in the division on their own patch; we need to prepare for that.
"I'm not being negative, I'm a realist. They're going to be two difficult games. We'll give them the respect they deserve."
Bristol City are 6.50 to come away from south Wales with all three points on Saturday.
Cardiff, who have lost just once at home this season, are 1.53 to secure the win and the draw is 4.50.
