Fine form pleases Lampard
Chelsea veteran Frank Lampard has admitted he has been enjoying his football at Stamford Bridge following some impressive performances this term.
The 34-year-old England international has been putting in some strong displays for both club and country this season, with many plaudits heading his way.
Lampard’s future at Chelsea however still remains in the balance, with the London club's apparent reluctance to offer older players new deals at Stamford Bridge.
There have been many calls amongst the Blues faithful to offer the midfielder a new deal but Lampard at the moment is just happy to be playing well for the team and getting a regular place in the side.
He told Chelsea TV: "I'm 34, you still need confidence of playing regular games. It certainly helps me, to get flow in your game; you ask any player that, I'm not on my own there.
"When you're playing regularly and you do start playing well, scoring goals, whatever position you're in, it's enjoyable to keep playing and it helps."
Chelsea are next in action in the Premier League on February 24, when they face defending champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
City are 2.00 to win, 3.50 to draw and 3.75 to lose to the Blues.
