Gregucci backs Balotelli to shine for Milan
Italy striker Mario Balotelli has been backed to cause 'devastation' now he has returned to his homeland.
The forward will certainly be on a mission tonight when he leads the line for Italy against the Netherlands in an international friendly at the Amsterdam ArenA.
We all know that Mario can be devastating.Angelo Gregucci
Balotelli scored twice on his AC Milan debut last weekend, following his £20million switch from Manchester City in the recent window.
And the 22-year-old can begin to realise his true potential now that he is in more comfortable surroundings.
That's the verdict of City's defensive coach Angelo Gregucci, who also insists the Premier League champions will realise a profit if Balotelli does deliver the goods.
Gregucci said: "Manchester will take more than it cost and we and Milan will both benefit, as we all know that Mario can be devastating.
"Mario will also benefit, because, away from the clutches of the British media, he will be able to concentrate more on football objectives.
"Staying close to his family, at a club like Milan, which he loves, could be his salvation, but at City, with Tevez, Aguero and Dzeko you can make a big impact in training and still be on the bench."
Milan are 34.00 to win the Italian league title this seaosn, with Juventus 1.33 and Napoli 3.75.
