Norwich seal Becchio swoop
Leeds manager Neil Warnock is pleased to have signed Steve Morison.
Norwich City have added to their former Leeds United contingent by snapping up the Argentinian striker Luciano Becchio while Steve Morison has moved in the opposite direction.
The 29-year-old Becchio has spent the last five years at Elland Road and joins fellow United team-mates Robert Snodgrass, Bradley Johnson and Jonny Howson at Carrow Road.
After penning a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Canaries, Becchio said: "I cannot wait to play my first game for Norwich.
"I spoke to Robert Snodgrass and Jonny Howson about Norwich and they both had really good things to say about the club and the city."
Meanwhile, Norwich's Wales international Morison, moves to Leeds, 12.00 to win promotion this season, after scoring 12 goals in 59 appearances for Chris Hughton's side.
"I'm absolutely delighted that we've been able to bring Steve in," said Leeds manager Neil Warnock. Even before Luciano put in his transfer request we had enquired about Steve - he was at the top of my list in January to bring in - and I can't tell you how delighted I am."
Norwich are 7.00 to be relegated this season and 11.00 to win 1-0 at QPR on Saturday.
