Wenger rules out 'ordinary' signings
Arsene Wenger insists he will not be pressurised into signing "normal" players as the transfer window draws to a close.
The Arsenal manager concedes the team, who are now 2.25 to finish in the top four, would be helped by quality signings but points out they are not easy to find in January. Wenger says he will not bow to pressure to buy for the sake of it and prefers to concentrate on giving his younger players a chance.

"We could do with top quality, one more, but you have to find him. If I bring a normal player in, I give the club a problem.
"It is for four years and I am stopping the young players to give him a chance. The second thing is even more damaging because we have two or three young players with a good chance to play for us."
