Everton agree fee for midfielder Fer

david-moyesEverton manager David Moyes has agreed a deal with FC Twente for the transfer of Netherlands international Leroy Fer as he attempts to guide his side to a top-four finish.

The 23-year-old midfielder will head to Merseyside to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.
Fer, who is an international team-mate of Everton defender John Heitinga, has scored ten goals in 29 appearances for Twente after previously playing for Feyenoord.
It is anticipated that, if the transfer does go through, Everton will pay £7million to secure Fer's services.
The midfielder has represented his country on two occasions but it is not thought that his arrival at Goodison Park will lead to Marouane Fellaini heading elsewhere before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
The Belgium international has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea but now looks set to stay at Everton until the end of this season at least.
Everton, 6.00 to finish in the top four this term, are 1.57 to beat West Brom on Wednesday, with Fellaini available at 6.00 to open the scoring against the Baggies.
Don't forget, all Premier League matches are covered by the bet365 100% Euro Soccer Bonus, where you could earn a bonus of up to 100% on your returns on pre-match accumulator bets.
