Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has pledged to battle on to try and turn his club's season around, following a 2-1 FA Cup fourth round defeat at Championship Millwall.
Villa lost out to League Two Bradford City in the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup in midweek and a bad week was made even worse when Lambert's side were beaten at The Den on Friday evening.

Things are no more rosy in the Premier League, with Villa just one point outside the dropzone after a run of six games without a victory.
Lambert said: "They have always been pretty upbeat and are not a group that go down really quickly, I don't have the problem of lifting their spirits.
"There are two ways to deal with it, you either accept it or come out fighting and I will keep fighting because I'm brought up that way. I will try everything I can to turn it around."
Meanwhile, Lambert also defended his decision to rest a few players, including leading scorer Christian Benteke, for Friday's game, adding: "You can't make too many changes, but the Premier League is the most important thing."
Villa are 2.00 to be relegated this season, with Wigan Athletic 2.37 and Reading 1.44.
