Dickov buzzing for Liverpool visit
Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool face a tough test at Oldham Athletic.
League One Oldham Athletic have been told to turn the fear factor to their own advantage when they host Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Latics have been spent this week ensuring the fourth round tie goes ahead after the Boundary Park pitch was hit by the wintry weather.
Oldham's current form won't exactly leave Brendan Rodgers' team freezing with fear, having taken just one point from the last 24 in the league.
But Latics boss Paul Dickov believes his outfit should have no reason to doubt they can't pull off one of the biggest shocks the competition has seen in recent years.
The game is a 10,000 sell-out and Oldham will also pick up around £300,000 from live television coverage.
Dickov insists: "It will be fantastic for the fans, the players and the club to have a club with the tradition of Liverpool coming here.
"It has given the whole place a buzz and I don't think many of their players will have experienced anything like it in terms of our ground.
"The only thing we have to do is go out and have a good go. What we can do is play without fear. There is a shock in every round so why not us."
Oldham are 26.00 to win 1-0 in 90 minutes, with Liverpool 1.25 to secure a victory in normal time, while the draw is 6.50.
