Toure still believes in miracles
Ivory Coast international Kolo Toure believes Manchester City can still pull off a Champions League miracle act.
The defender admits Roberto Mancini's side have it all to do if they are to qualify from Group D, having attained just one point from their opening three games.
City host Ajax at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night and need a win to keep their remote chances alive. They are 1.44 to take all three points from the match while a 1-1 draw is available at 8.50.
Wins in their remaining three games could be enough for the Premier League champions to squeak through to the next stages of the competition, something Toure, 41.00 to open the scoring against Ajax, insists they are striving for.
He insists: "No-one expects us to come back and win the three games. If we win against Ajax it will be a big lift for the team and the fans. It's just about believing.
"We have to win all three games but I believe in the team. At the moment we have a lot of injured players but those we have at the moment are outstanding.
"Maybe it will help us with the pressure being off, and maybe Ajax will think it's going to be easy. We have three 'finals' in the Champions League, and if we could get through it would be a massive boost."
