Dixon hoping for some home town points

Thursday 29th July 10

Kirk Dixon is on his 'home' turf of Humberside at the weekend hoping that the Tigers can get back on the winning path after the late defeat to Crusaders last week.

The Tigers Man of the match in the game in Wales, Kirk was of course a ‘Black and White' with Hull FC before joining the Tigers, and still lives in Hull, so enjoys the opportunity to face rivals Hull KR.

Kirk said: "It should be a great game but Rovers have been in good form recently so it will be a tough one for us and we will have to perform to our best. Having said that, we felt that we should have taken the points against them here at the Jungle so we are very keen to reverse that, as well as boosting our own play off hopes.
"Last week was a disappointment as it was a ‘four-pointer' and it would be great for the Tigers if we can take the points against Rovers, and be bit special for me personally as a West Hull boy."
